The unit is designed for operation as part of the complex of post equipment of electrical centralisation and is intended for implementation of circuit dependencies in EC devices. The block is used together with blocks B I, B II, B III-65. Climatic design of the unit is UHL category 4.2 according to GOST 15150-69.

In terms of resistance to mechanical effects, the unit corresponds to the group of operating conditions MC1 according to GOST 32668-2014. In terms of resistance to climatic effects the unit corresponds to the group of operating conditions K1 according to GOST 32668-2014. Protection degree of the unit is IP30 according to GOST 14254-2015.

By the method of protection of a person from electric shock the unit belongs to class 0 according to GOST 12.2.007.0-75. Electrical connection of the unit is made using plug connectors. The block includes relays NM4-2400, NM1-1440, NM2-4000, NMM1-560, NM4-3,0.
