Description

The device is designed to build secure networks in the tasks of remote control and monitoring of industrial facilities. The device controls packet forwarding between different network segments on the basis of routing rules and tables. To make decisions on packet forwarding, information about the network topology and certain rules set by the administrator are used. The device can also be used as an industrial switch Redundancy Box (hereinafter referred to as RedBox). RedBox is a switch that implements the PRP (Parallel Redundancy Protocol) redundancy technology in the LAN network.
