Description

The current limiting reactor is single-phase dry. Used for protection against short circuits. They provide both limitation of short-circuit currents to permissible values and maintenance of voltage level of electrical installations at the moment of short-circuit within permissible limits.

Current limiting reactors are coils with linear inductive resistance. The winding is a multilayer winding made of insulated wire. Structural rigidity of the reactor phase is ensured by a coupling system made of glass-textolite strips and non-magnetic steel elements.

As support insulators in the reactors are used rod support insulators with a sheath of organosilicon rubber, which provide fixing of reactors on the foundation, electromagnetic compatibility and support insulation.
