Special Purpose Parachute System Lesnik-3 for Training and Operational Jumps

The Lesnik-3 parachute system is designed for training and production jumps by parachutists of various specialities, including firefighter parachutists, to open areas and forest plots both in special equipment of firefighter parachutist SPP-3 and without it, from AN-2, AN-3, AN-12, AN-26, IL-76 aircrafts and Mi-8 helicopters equipped for performing parachute jumps with stabilising parachutes. Structurally, the Lesnik-3 parachute system includes the main and reserve parachute systems placed in one satchel and having a common suspension system. Both parachute systems are equipped with the same type of parachutes, representing a nine-section wing. The satchel is placed on the parachutist's back. The suspension system provides connection of a cargo container weighing up to 50kg.
