Specialized Technological Tooling for GAKS-L-3 Lathes - Enhance Machining Efficiency

Specialised technological tooling of GAKS-L-3 type is designed for machining of sealing surfaces of body gates and wedges of flanged steel and cast iron gate valves with wedge chamber angle of 10°. On special order the tooling can be supplied for machining of gate valves with wedge chamber angles of 6° and 8°. The tooling allows to perform several technological operations: blade machining of the sealing surface and rolling of brass rings into the bore of the sealing surfaces of the body or wedge of cast iron gate valves. Rolling of rings is possible when the tooling is equipped with radial and end rollers. The tooling is mounted on the spindle of the lathe. The workpiece to be machined is fixed in the fixture by means of clamps.
