Standard Table Tennis Table for Competitive and Recreational Play

The standard dimensions of a tennis table are 27401525760 mm. The playing surface is most often made of fibreboard, MDF or glued plywood. And the material should provide the same bounce of a tennis ball at any point of the table.

A white line 20 mm wide is drawn along the entire edge of the table and its centre part. A grid dividing the table into two equal parts is installed along the axis of separation between the halves of the playing surface. Its height is 152.5 mm from the floor. The playing surface itself should have a dark, matte colour and not give glare. In order for the playing surface to ensure long-lasting operation of the table, it undergoes several stages of processing:
