TEM23 Maneuvering Diesel Locomotive for Efficient Rail Operations

The TEM23 shunting locomotive is designed for shunting and shunting operations on railways, in regions I2, II4...II10 according to GOST16350-80 with moderate climate, execution U (moderate climate), placement category 1 according to GOST15150 at ambient temperature from 313K to 223K (from plus 40°C to minus 50°C). Technical characteristics of the TEM23 diesel locomotive are optimised to meet the actual needs of JSC "Russian Railways" and industrial enterprises. The diesel locomotive is designed in 02-VM size with all-round visibility from the driver's cab. For shunting diesel locomotives TEM23 JSC "MC "BMZ" received a certificate of conformity, certifying compliance with the requirements of TR TS 001/2011 "On the safety of railway rolling stock". The certificate was issued by the Railway Transport Certification Body of the federal budgetary institution "Register of Certification on Federal Railway Transport".
