Bed KM-07 "SATURN-90" implements the method of treatment of newborns and infants, which is a development of the method of "dry immersion". The advantage of the method is automatic maintenance of the set temperature with high accuracy and adjustable soft surface massage. The bed provides extremely comfortable conditions and the buoyancy effect simulates for the infant conditions close to those in the womb. Principle of action: A pseudo-boiling layer created by an upward airflow in an environment of 50-160 µm sodium-calcium glass microballoons with a hydrophobic coating is used. Therapeutic properties: Light uniform mechanical effect of bubbles formed on the surface of the pseudo-liquid on peripheral nerve endings, their stimulation followed by tonic effect on the respiratory and vasomotor centres.
