Description
"Lifting beams are necessary to distribute the load evenly between all load attachments, they protect the lifted load from compressive forces and ensure its safety when moving.
The traverse beam is a beam structure with two lugs on the edges of the beam for attaching the traverse beam to the hoist. Since the crosshead is attached to the hook by means of slings, this reduces the useful working height, therefore we recommend the use of the Type 1 crosshead in conditions of height restrictions.
At the same time, the scheme of slinging the traverse by two points allows to significantly reduce the metal intensity of the structure, which is important when selecting a traverse with a minimum dead weight while maintaining the load capacity.".
