Description
Acti-Fine® hematology vacuum tubes contain K2EDTA (1.8 mg/il of blood).EDTA blocks the clotting cascade by binding calcium ions, ensuring the stability of red, white and platelets in the blood sample for up to 24 hours. Full bore screw threads on the cap and on the tube to avoid spillage of material during transport, mixing and centrifugation, as well as for repeated opening and closing of the tube without splashing the material, to prevent the risk of contamination.
