Description
This antenna is designed for operation as part of simplex radios for service use, data transmission systems, as well as in the amateur range.Its diagram in the vertical plane is optimised for maximum gain, which in turn narrows the bandwidth by agreement. The antenna is tuned to the operating frequency by the customer for maximum gain and minimum VSWR according to the enclosed detailed instructions.Antenna design - collinear, from two linear radiators with phased coil-phase shifter. Current cut-off is provided by three wave counterweights.
The antenna cover is collapsible and made of fibreglass tubes. The internal elements also have a collapsible design for easy transport.
