Pump - axial vertical is designed for supply of water or other liquids similar to water in viscosity and chemical activity with content of suspended particles not more than 3 g/l, of them abrasive particles not more than 2% with temperature not more than 35 (308K). It consists of housing parts, rotor and guide bearings. The housing parts include a diverter, a straightening device, an impeller chamber, a transition ring and a caster ring.

The rotor consists of a shaft and impeller. The rotor rotates in two guide bearings. The sliding bearings of the pump are made with removable liners.

The pump bearings are lubricated with pumped water with suspended particles content not more than 50 mg/l, when the pump is operated with polluted water with suspended particles content more than 50 mg/l, the bearings are supplied with clean technical water from an external source.
