Water treatment system, desalination unit shipboard brand "AQUAVIT" MV160 is designed for desalination of sea water for preparation of water of drinking quality in ship conditions from sea water, as well as from the water of other surface water supply sources (river, lake). The desalination plant is a complex high-pressure system, which filters seawater with the help of reverse osmosis module (RO-module), dividing it into two streams: a stream of desalinated water (permeate), fed into the storage tank, and concentrated salt solution (concentrate), which is discharged into the drain.
