24-Week Premature Infant Model for Training in Neonatal Resuscitation

The model is designed to teach techniques for restoring patency of the respiratory tract, respiratory support and resuscitation of a premature baby. A realistic simulator of a 24-week premature newborn patient to help train medical professionals in airway resuscitation, respiratory support and resuscitation.

The mannequin has a realistic, anatomically accurate oral cavity and airway, allowing simulation participants to practice stabilisation and resuscitation skills for premature infants.

The airway includes: epiglottis, vocal cleft and vocal cords <ul> <li>- Realistic chest rise after compression when performing CPR</li> <li>Manual pulse: in the brachial, femoral, umbilical arteries and in the fontanelle</li> <li>Sites for vascular access at the hand, head and umbilicus</li> <li>Supporting procedures:</li> </ul>Blood sampling and infusion therapy via PBC/PACs CVC placement
