Ceramic-Forming Polysilane for SiC Synthesis and Applications

Ceramic-forming organosilicon polymer. Forms silicon carbide (SiC) upon pyrolysis. It is intended for use as a binder, coatings, matrices and SiC-based fibres for the manufacture of composite materials. It is a yellow-green to brown coloured solid brittle transparent substance. There are no non-fusible inclusions. Guaranteed shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
