Description

- The lathe with through slide is designed for machining large-sized parts.
The feedthrough slide moves on separate guides, preventing resonance and vibration of the workpiece.
The advantage is that its movement is not restricted by the lunette or tailstock.
The workpiece is machined along its entire length in one set-up, without having to reset the workpiece or the lunettes.
The grey cast iron bed guarantees static and dynamic rigidity for a long service life and is made of several solid sections.
Inside the bed there are large sloping openings to facilitate chip slippage and minimise thermal effects.
The high torque on the spindle allows heavy duty machining.
