ELECTRICAL INSULATING FOIL MATERIAL OF STANDARDISED

Foil material STFU EM-5 belongs to FR-4 class according to ANSI classification and is intended for manufacturing of single-sided, double-sided and multilayer printed circuit boards. The insulating base of the foiled material corresponds to the conventional designation FV-EP-GC-CU according to GOST 26246.5 and GOST 26246.11. The material is identical to FR-4 according to IPC 4101E/24/124/129 with the glass transition temperature of the insulating base not less than 170 ºC according to the DSC method.

The maximum permissible operating temperature is from minus 60 ºC to plus 155 ºC. The material is compatible with lead-free soldering processes, resistant to UV radiation. Standard designation of foil foil material of double-sided mark STFU EM-5 (D - double-sided or O - single-sided) with nominal value of insulation layer thickness 0,15 mm, copper foil thickness 35 microns: STFU-D-0,15-35-EM-5 TU 22.21.42-016-96330920-2019 The sheet thickness of the foiled material excludes the thickness of the copper foil.
