SIZOD is insulating as it does not filter contaminated air but delivers clean air from a compressed air source. Due to the operation from an external source of compressed air, the time of continuous operation is not limited and does not depend on the concentration of harmful substances in the ambient air of the working area. The breathing apparatus consists of a waist belt and a flow regulator with a connector for connecting the hose from the air supply source and a threaded connection for the tube to the front part.

The required air flow rate is set with the handle of the flow regulator. The flow regulator is equipped with an alarm whistle that signals when the inlet pressure drops to 350 kPa and a small-sized manometer-indicator of the inlet pressure.
