Smooth Braking Catchers for Elevators - LE Model for Safety Applications

The wedge catchers of smooth braking of bilateral action model LE are designed to catch and hold on the rails of the car (or counterweight) of the lift with a range of caught masses from 500 kg to 3000 kg with a maximum speed of operation up to 3.55 m/s. Proven and reliable wedge actuators with high service life are designed to work with maximum loads without damaging the working surface of the guide rails during actuation. The 3 mm gap between the wedge and the guide eliminates spontaneous seating of the catchers in the presence of damage and traces of wear on the working surface of the guides.
