Smooth Braking Load Catchers for Elevators LPT Model - Efficient Safety Solution

The wedge catchers of smooth braking of one-sided action model LPT are designed to catch and hold on the guides of the car (or counterweight) of the lift with a range of caught masses from 650 kg to 4000 kg with a maximum speed of operation up to 3,55 m/sec. The catchers are designed with smooth force adjustment to achieve the most optimal deceleration accelerations. A 3 mm spring travel ensures that the catchers will catch the cab (or counterweight) even if the guide or wedge surfaces of the catchers are excessively worn. The 3 mm gap between the wedge and the guide eliminates spontaneous catching in the presence of damage and traces of wear on the working surface of the guides.
