Brake chamber with spring energy accumulator is designed to actuate braking mechanisms. The chamber consists of two parts: a membrane flangeless brake chamber and a spring-pneumatic cylinder. The diaphragm chamber acts as an actuator of the service brake system, and the spring energy accumulator, depending on the control, can be an actuator: a) emergency brake - at regulated release of compressed air from under the spring by means of a valve with a tracking action; b) parking brake - unregulated release of compressed air from under the spring without tracking action; c) emergency brake - unregulated release of compressed air from under the spring due to damage to the pneumatic actuator or its parts.
