Description

Acti-Fine® Vacuum tubes for haemostasis studies contain CTAD solution (a mixture of sodium citrate, theophylline, adenosine and dipyridamole). The reagent prevents platelet aggregation and the release of platelet coagulation factors and falsification of the result. The Acti-Fine® tube with CTAD stabiliser is used for routine coagulological tests and for monitoring haemostasis parameters in patients receiving anticoagulant therapy. Full bore screw threads on the cap and on the tube to avoid spillage of material during transport, mixing and centrifugation, as well as for repeated opening and closing of the tube without splashing of material to avoid the risk of contamination.
