Radial-Axial Hydroturbine for Tower HPP - Efficient Energy Conversion

The hydraulic turbine is designed to convert the mechanical energy of water flow into rotational energy of the impeller (Type of turbine - radial-axial). The shaft of the hydro turbine is connected to the rotor shaft of the electric current generator. The water flow in a radial-axis turbine first moves radially from the periphery to the centre and then axially to the outlet. The rotor of the turbine is the impeller, which converts the energy of the water flow into mechanical energy. All parts of the impeller of the radial-axial turbine are connected to each other fixedly, which provides it with good strength qualities.
