Description
Lower compartment of marine diesel engine M507D-1 (2x56ChNSP16/17) according to TU24.06.5443-91 with Addendum ?1. Total power of the compartment is 3315 kW (4500 hp) at crankshaft rotation speed of 1900 rpm. The direction of crankshaft rotation is right-handed (drive turbocharger side).
The compartment has 56 cylinders in seven blocks arranged star-shaped (designation according to GOST 10150-2014 - 56ChN16/17) and is connected with a two-stage summing reducer, transmitting rotation from the crankshaft of the compartment to the power take-off flange. Overall dimensions, mm (length/width/height): 3195/1683/1654. Weight 5600 kg.
