Marine Diesel Engine M849 for Generator Drive - Efficient Power Source

Diesel M849 (12ChN18/20) is used for generator drive in ship diesel generator DGAS-500/1MSH according to TU24.06.8401-85. It can be supplied as a part of DGAS-500/1MSH and as a component part of spare parts. Rated power as a part of diesel generator DGAS-500/1MSh is 500 kW.

Rated crankshaft speed at 50% of rated power is 1500 rpm. Overall dimensions, mm (length/width/height): 2345/1252/1260. Weight 1700 kg.

Design features: liquid-cooled diesel engine with supercharging from two free turbochargers, with pumps of the systems including internal liquid cooling circuit pump, external cooling circuit pump (for outside water), oil injection pump, oil pump (from the dry crankcase of the diesel engine), fuel injection pump and fuel pump, driven mechanically from the diesel engine.

Diesel M849 as part of DGAS-500/1MSH is installed in a noise-absorbing bonnet.
