Description
The impeller is the main working organ of the hydraulic turbine, which takes the energy of the water flow, converting it into mechanical energy of the rotational motion of the turbine shaft, which is transmitted to the shaft of the hydraulic generator. The impeller of the rotary-blade turbine is a spherical-shaped housing with blades, which are installed in the housing by their trunnions. Inside the housing there is a crank-lever mechanism for turning the blades with a servomotor, which by means of oil creates the force necessary for their respective turning. The blades of the wheel are synchronously set at an angle in accordance with the defined opening of the hydraulic turbine guide apparatus by means of an automatic regulator. The impeller of a radial-axis turbine is a welded construction consisting of a rim, a hub and special profile blades located between them.
