Description

Ship diesel engine M507A (2x56ChNSP16/17) according to TU24.06.5443-91, designed for installation on ships as the main engine. Full power 7355 kW (10000 hp) at crankshaft speed of 2000 rpm. The direction of rotation of the power take-off flange according to GOST 22836-77 is right or left, depending on the diesel engine version.

Overall dimensions , mm (length/width/height): 7000/1820/2490. Weight 17200 kg. Two-stage summing reducer, depending on the modification of M507A, has a ratio of 0,314 and 0,311 for right and left rotation respectively.

The reducer provides operation of the M507A diesel engine in forward and reverse by means of the main synchroniser with reversing mechanism, as well as operation under single compartment (56ChN16/17).
